Production wraps on Blaxploitation-inspired Splatter Horror 'Death Ranch'

May 27, 2019

For our first production of 2019 at Dark Temple Motion Pictures, we've recently completed shooting on our bloodiest movie yet! DEATH RANCH was shot in the sweltering heat of Tennessee USA. The film is set in the early 70s, using an all American cast and crew (besides British writer/director Charlie Steeds).

Here's the synopsis for the film:

1970s USA, Three African American siblings on the run from the police take refuge at an abandoned Tennessee Ranch, unaware their hideout is on the hunting grounds of a cannibalistic Ku Klux Klan cult...

Trapped and tortured, the three must fight tooth and nail to escape alive and take down the bloodthirsty Klan!

The film stars Deiondre Teagle, Faith Monique and Travis Cutner as the three siblings, with Scot Scurlock as the Klan leader, along with many others.

'Death Ranch' is a co-production between Dark Temple Motion Pictures and Empire Studios, and is produced by Charlie Steeds (The Barge People), Aaron Mirtes (Curse of the Nun), Jamie McLeod-Ross and Charley McDougall.

DEATH RANCH is currently in post-production and due for a 2020 release.
