Lockdown may be lifted but Shockdown lives on… and this time live and in person! After 20 months away, the Soho Horror Film Festival is excited to return to the big screen for a limited engagement one-day mini fest to say thank you for all the support throughout the last year. We invite you to:

We have pulled together an exciting line-up compromising 5 fearsome features and 10 terrifying shorts all dragged from the digital depths of our 13 months of virtual programming. And since everyone seemed to enjoy our surprise films at Sohome Horror so much, what exactly we’ve got planned for you will remain a SECRET until the very start of each screening. But rest assured some of these films will be playing for the first time ever on the cinema screen, and some for the last time ever.

Despite there being no legal restrictions in place, we want our audience to feel as safe as they possibly can considering the still prescient risks surrounding coronavirus. As such we will be putting the following COVID precautions in place:

The Final Shockdown will run from 11:00 to 23:00 with doors open from 10:30 and seating on a first-come allocation.

- Reduced capacity to just 25 passes to enable as much distancing in the screening room as possible (with 5 individual film tickets available for each screening.)

- Masks will be encouraged to be worn at all times in the Karma Sanctum except where exempt or eating or drinking (food and drinks must be purchased from the venue).

- A negative lateral flow test from the previous 48 hours or proof of double vaccination will be required for entry

- Increased sanitising and cleaning in the screening room.
